Introduction: 
UK-MED prioritizes partnerships with academic institutions as a cornerstone of its strategic plan. This collaboration aims to promote evidence-based practice that enhances patient care and the humanitarian sector overall. 

Key Objectives:
- Support research projects : Share learning from responses, inform policy improvements, and maximize the effectiveness of humanitarian interventions. 
-Integrate practical learning: Feed UK-MED's operational expertise into the academic curricula, improving future humanitarian responses. 
- Strengthen evidence base: Enhance health outcomes for crisis-affected populations by solidifying the foundation for public health interventions. 

Purpose of the survey:
The purpose of this survey is to assess the needs of universities, both within and outside the UK, regarding the integration of health humanitarian topics into their health related facilities curriculum (public health, medicine, nursing, pharmacies, physiotherapy, etc.) and the implementation of health related humanitarian research projects. The survey aims to gather insights from academicians within these universities to understand their awareness, perceptions and preferences related to health related humanitarian topics in the context of academic programs. 
This survey is designed to be completed in less than 10 minutes. Your answers will contribute to a better understanding of the factors that enhance or hinder the collaboration between humanitarian organizations and academic institutions and design joint interventions accordingly.
