Understanding the Drivers of Non-adherence Towards COVID-19 Preventive Measures in Namibia

Description

The overall objective of the study was to understand the Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices around the recommended public health measures protecting the public/preventing transmission, and drivers of non-adherence towards the same. The specific study objectives were:
1. To assess individuals’ knowledge, perceived risk of contracting COVID-19, and the perceived effectiveness of the recommended public health measures
2. To establish the factors hindering uptake and adherence to COVID-19 preventive measures
3. To determine the factors facilitating uptake and adherence to COVID-19 preventive measures
4. To identify strategies, community solutions, approaches, preferred accessible communication channels, and trusted sources of information on COVID-19
5. To understand perceptions around the COVID-19 Vaccine
