COVID-19 Faith in Action Guidance Documents

At this moment of crisis, the following thematic guidance documents have been prepared to guide religious leaders and faith communities on the key issues and actions that they can take in preventing and addressing the diseases and its secondary effects. ​The documents have been prepared based on official technical materials from UNICEF, WHO and IFRC and informed by the existing Faith-Based resources.

The coronavirus’ spread and global reach has been a source of concern and a call for collective action to prevent the virus from spreading further. While you may be feeling worried about how to stay safe amidst this pandemic, it is critical that we keep coronavirus-related stigma to a minimum as it may make this challenging situation worse.

Step-by-Step: Engaging Communities during COVID-19

This user-friendly guide will help advance meaningful community engagement to address the effects of COVID19 on the health and well-being of communities, and could be adapted for use in child protection, education, gender-based violence, or other programming needs. The guide provides step-by-step options for engaging key community change agents and groups remotely, and/or in combination with safe social distancing practice and protection.
