Disability Inclusive RCCE

In this ESAR RCCE Technical Working Group, the Collective Service hosted a webinar to discuss Disability Inclusion in Risk Communication and Community Engagement and the lack of inclusion in public health discourse.

With representatives from UNICEF, the International Rescue Committee (IRC), and the Camp Coordination and Camp Management cluster (CCCM), the speakers provided an overview of the increased risks experienced by people living with disabilities during public health emergencies. They also shared good practices and measures to improve equal access to feedback mechanisms, as well as disability data aggregation and collection methodologies.
